Cristie cut her teeth on the concepts of social consciousness and sustainability in the mid-1990’s by putting theory into practice at Archeworks,
Chicago’s Bauhaus-like non-profit where multi-disciplinary teams work to address social issues through the implementation of good design.
From there, she lent her creativity to the editorial team at Playboy.com.
