As a reprieve from the frigid Midwest winters, Dr. Heather Krebsbach traveled to India and Nepal where she opened her heart and mind to the expanse of eastern medicine. It was during these experiences that she decided to transform her passion for medicine into a new medical model. Dr. Heather is a Naturopathic physician and Acupuncturist in Portland Oregon where she specializes in adjunctive cancer care and woman’s health.  With her husband and adorable dog, she enjoys taking advantage of the many beautiful backdrops Oregon affords.

Lifestyle
laura@inurmagazine.com

Freelance editor, writer, and mother of a two-year-old, Laura Meehan spends her time trying to put the fun back in functional-or at least trying to make sure it is spelled correctly and consistent in tone.

She has her master's in writing/book publishing, and edits book manuscripts, among other things. She also writes articles for EcoMetro.com, The Hollywood Star News, and The Portland Observer, along with fiction for her own enjoyment (during all of her "me" time, of course). Some of her favorite things are reading, spending time with friends, cheap red wine, and her husband Jeremy.
